45 years of Essetre: remembered, celebrated, invested for the future
Essetre’s 45th anniversary was a memorable event, celebrated in the beautiful Thiene Castle, in the heart of our city.
Over 150 guests, including employees, partners, suppliers, collaborators and special guests such as the mayor, gathered to celebrate this important achievement.
The event began with an opening speech by Cristina Sella, who emphasised the value of Essetre’s work over the years. Her satisfaction as she saw the entire team reunited was palpable and her thanks to all the guests created a unique atmosphere.
Immediately afterwards the mayor of Thiene, Gianantonio Michelusi, spoke and recognised the importance of the company for the local community, as 45 years is an important achievement: ‘I know the company well and every time I visit it I always find changes, innovations, new technologies and this is a great honour. Moreover, the fundamental ‘3Ps’ are never lacking: passion, patience and perseverance. So congratulations to Gianni, to his children Nicola, Cristina and Andrea, and to all those who have worked and are still working for this company with great professionality and never forgetting the human relationship’.
The highlight of the evening was the surprise video, presented by Cristina, which described Essetre’s long and rich history. The video went through the highlights of the company, from the initial idea to the realisation of the first machines, to today’s international successes.
Gianni, the founder of Essetre, who was visibly moved, made a speech full of emotion and devotion for his business. His words touched the hearts of all present, reminding them of the importance of passion and dedication in achieving great results.

It is an important achievement for me, for my children Andrea, Nicola and Cristina, but also and above all for our entire team of men and women, who work every day with passion and desire to do the best. 45 years ago I started this company with the idea, above all, of developing and building machines to solve the different problems of the woodworking world, and I wanted to offer a solid product that would last over time.
And so it has been for all these years: I am truly happy that this philosophy is carried on today also by my children, who are a fundamental part of Essetre.
I hope, and I am sure, that we will continue like this in the future, with this spirit of always finding new solutions, producing with quality and also making our contribution to the well-being of people and our region.
